The Good News About Bad News

The Good News About Bad News

— Derek Hinchliffe, RScP

Automatically you get rid of the negatives by the implanting of positives. Negatives cannot exist when positives fill the space. When the sunshine of love and confidence fills your whole being, the darkness of the negatives has to disappear.

Ernest Holmes

The media seems to be full of “bad news”. Radio, TV, newspapers and even social media can lead us to believe that something awful is always happening somewhere. This week, Derek Hinchliffe, RScP, will share his experience from 40 years in the news business, and how he is learning to let go of fear, and instead look at world events from a spiritual point of view.

Join Derek and the rest of the Sunday Six on May 23, 2021 at 10:30am on Facebook Live.

This Week’s Science of Mind Theme

Say Their Names

Many cultures honour the ancestors who have transitioned. Giving ourselves opportunities to remember, reflect, and honour Life (God) as It has shown Itself as each person, allows their power, story and love to live on in us.

There is a Universal Mind, Spirit, Intelligence, that is the origin of everything. It is First Cause. It is God. This Universal Life and Energy finds an outlet in and through all that is energized, and through everything that lives. There is One Life back of everything. Energy is in everything.

Something to ponder: What does the world and the people in it need from me? As someone’s answered prayer, who and what am I called to be and to do, today?

MIND-FULL MOMENT

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
