The True Meaning of Life
— Rev. Barbara Samuel and Neal Klassen
“The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be. Being alive is the meaning.”
— Joseph Campbell
Many people go through the twists and turns of their own lives searching for the Meaning of Life. Ultimately, they reach a point where they start asking similar questions. When they can’t seem to find a satisfactory answer themselves, they look for others to answer their questions for them.
Rev. Barbara Samuel says: “For me personally, none of them were ever able to give me any answers that were satisfactory to me.” Neal Klassen and Rev. Barb share their stories of love that have lead them to their true meaning of life.
Join Rev. Barb, Neal, and the rest of the Sunday Six on February 27th at 10:30am for our livestream service on Facebook Live, YouTube or the home page of our website.
Tune in early at 10:20am to hear the music of New Thought musician, Karen Drucker.
This Week’s Science of Mind Theme
Pause and Find the Cause
‘Cause’ is that which causes or produces an effect. Every manifestation is an effect. Everything we perceive with our physical senses is an effect.
Although the Principles are invisible, we see their effects everywhere in our world and in our Universe. It is always ready to respond and make Itself known in the visible world by the results of Its activity.
We get what we give. We attract what we are. It is only when we ignore or misuse the Universal Law that we suffer from confusion, until we bring ourselves back into alignment with it. It is always possible to introduce a new "cause" at any time and completely change the effect.
We must understand that what we have today is the result of what we believed yesterday, and what we will have tomorrow will be the result of what we believe today. We cannot undo the past, but we can take action now to create a new future.
In-Person Service at the RCA
We are excited to be together again for an in-person service at the Mary Irwin Theatre in the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) on March 13th. Please RSVP on the In-Person Sunday Celebration event page if you would like to attend.
Please note that the RCA currently requires that all attendees show their BC Vaccine Card. The service will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live, YouTube and the home page of our website.
Annual Membership Drive
Your membership at CSL Kelowna expires at the AGM in March each year. We each have the opportunity once again to take the powerful step of consciously choosing to become a member of the CSL Kelowna community. As we do this, we re-commit to our purpose of Awakening Humanity to its Spiritual Magnificence. Find out more and complete the application form on the Membership page of the website.

MIND-FULL MOMENT
“Prayer is not something we do to God, but to ourselves.
It is not a position, but a disposition. It is not flattery, but a sense of oneness. It is not asking, but knowing. It is not words, but feeling.
It is not will, but willingness.”
— Eric Butterworth
